Front-End Developer (React, JavaScript, HTML5)

We are currently recruiting for a dynamic client in the Kansas City area seeking three skilled Front-End Developers to join their team and drive the development of cutting-edge web applications.

Job Summary:

Our client is looking for talented Front-End Developers with expertise in React, JavaScript, and HTML5 to design, develop, and maintain engaging, responsive web interfaces. The ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of experience building user-focused, high-performance web applications and a passion for delivering clean, efficient code. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive digital solutions that enhance user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain responsive, dynamic web applications using React, JavaScript (ES6+), and HTML5.
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional, visually appealing interfaces.
  • Optimize front-end performance to ensure fast load times and seamless cross-device and cross-browser experiences.
  • Write modular, well-documented code adhering to best practices, including component-based architecture and modern JavaScript standards.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to enhance application functionality.
  • Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to deliver high-quality, reliable code.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and product managers to align on project requirements and timelines.
  • Stay current with front-end technologies and trends to propose innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of professional experience as a Front-End Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in React (including hooks, state management, and routing), JavaScript (ES6+), and HTML5.
  • Expertise in CSS3 and preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS) for responsive and adaptive design.
  • Experience with modern front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling (e.g., Fetch, Axios).
  • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
